SWEATER WITH NARROW STRIPES KNITTED TOP DOWN WITH SOME EXTRA WIDTH. YOU START AT THE NECK AND INCREASE DOWN THE SHOULDERS WITH SHORT ROWS IN THE GERMAN SHORTS ROWS (GSR) TECHNIQUE. THIS GIVES A NEAT SHAPE THAT FITS NICELY. STITCHES ARE PICKED UP FOR THE SLEEVES WHICH ARE WORKED FROM THE TOP DOWN. THE SLEEVES ARE LONG WITH A NARROW RIBBING AT THE BOTTOM.
WHEN THE SWEATER IS WORKED TOP DOWN, IT MAKES IT EASY TO ADJUST THE LENGTH OF BOTH THE BODY AND THE SLEEVES.
